A Doodle A Day x Three! :)

Here come the Doodles!  :)  I recently created two new owls, both in Prismacolor on paper.  The plump lady: Well Owl Be. The manly man:  HOW(L).  I have really been enjoying making these little guys....excited to see where it will lead!  The third piece I also made using Prismacolor on paper...and is a statement for ALL girls!
If you like the new work, please pass the word along to your friends!  Thanks so much!!!  stay tuned!!

A Doodle A Day and Other Sweet Things...

Lately I've been drawing just whatever pops into my mind....I've been inspired by oranges and greens these days, possibly because my gardens have turned to icky browns and the approaching winter has taken its toll on my color inspiration outdoors....enjoy the latest drawings!

Today's New ART!!

Today I delivered a piece made with just a dash of extra love. :)  Currently in foster care in South Korea, these sweet children will soon be coming home to their forever family.  This portrait will be a gift for their foster parents.  I hope they enjoy it and I hope it brings joy to them each time they see it...because I know they will miss these two so much!  Foster parents are such blessings....Doubly so are the angels that will be adopting these sweet siblings. :)

A Day Of Drawing!

I spent the day today making three small drawings, all with india ink on paper.  My niece, Lily, will be celebrating her Homecoming in December....We officially welcomed her into our family two years ago from South Korea.  One small drawing I did today was in her honor. :)  I also created a small piece in honor of my nephew, Owen, who we welcomed home from Russia in 2007.  Such a blessed family!

Time To Find Your Treasures!

It has been quite a busy beginning to fall this year...the season is now in full swing, and I am just itching to create!  While my garden is holding steadfast and still producing a generous harvest, my artwork is beginning to take the reigns.  This is the perfect time of year to give a gift of art.  I just finished a portrait for a dear friend of my sister's, and I am beginning a second one for a couple embarking on their second adoption journey!  Stay tuned!!!
